Hello there, @peter26.

Thanks for visiting the Community. I understand the urgency to have your client upgrade her bank feed connection to Open Banking. Currently, Clydesdale Bank's new data feed will be available in the coming months, this is why she's unable to upgrade it successfully.

In the meantime, I'd recommend to manually import bank transactions to make sure she's keeping up with her books. I'll walk you through the process and give you some links to guide you through.

First off, she'll need to visit the Clydesdale online banking website to get older transactions from her bank. Then, pick a date range to prevent duplicates.

Make sure to save the file in a Comma-Separated Values (CSV) format. Then, follow the steps below to upload transactions to QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE):

  1. Go to the Settings menu, then select Imports.
  2. Select the account you want to add the transactions into.
  3. Click Browse, then select the file you downloaded from your bank, then click Next.
  4. Select the file, then select Open to start the import.
  5. Follow the onscreen instructions. Match the columns on the file with the banking fields in QuickBooks, then select Next and click Let's go
  6. Click Continue to complete the import.

QuickBooks will now add the transactions to the account. Review and categorize the transactions to put them in your books.
