Accounts Payable automation workflow in the UK?

We really need an accounts payable workflow system. At the moment we are using Online plus. I don't want to upgrade to Online advanced as it is twice the price and I can't justify paying that.

I found this in the help menu today. It's so confusing.  It contradicts the QB website which says workflows are only available on advanced:

If you use QuickBooks Online, you know how important it is to stay on top of your bills and invoices. But manually entering and paying each bill can be time-consuming and error-prone. That’s where Accounts Payable (AP) Automation comes in.

By automating your Accounts Payable process in QuickBooks Online, you can save time and reduce mistakes when creating and paying your bills. In this article, we’ll show you how to review pending bills and upload them into QuickBooks.

Note: This feature may not be available in all accounts yet, but will be included with QuickBooks Online Essentials, QuickBooks Online Plus, and QuickBooks Online Advanced accounts.

Having the Accounts Payable Automation feature in QuickBooks Online (QBO) helps streamline your accounts payable process by automating tasks like bill entry, payment scheduling, and tracking, which helps save time and reduce errors, AG777.

Your account is currently excluded from the rollout of this feature. Our product developers release new features gradually to ensure they work smoothly and to collect user feedback. As a result, not all accounts receive access simultaneously.

In the meantime, you can manually enter and pay your bills using the program. The Accounts Payable Automation feature will be added to your account soon.

I appreciate your patience as QuickBooks continues to improve and expand the Accounts Payable Automation features. If you need more help with accounts payable, let me know by adding a comment below.
