Hey ron7,

What bank provider are you with and are you receiving an error message when updating the account?

Thanks

Yes. I'm following all the instructions but it doesn't work every time.

I'd like to know more about this, Hazeyp. This way, I can provide you with the right information.

What's your bank provider? So I can check if there's an open investigation.

You can also check this article on what to do if bank transactions won’t download or there's a bank error

In the meantime, you can manually import the bank transactions through WebConnect or Excel CSV file

You can get back to this thread with more information. We're right here to help you out.

I'm with Nationwide Building Society. I get as far as signing in to the banking site and allowing permissions for QB but then it says it hasn't worked.

4 out of 5 of my accounts now do not automatically upload since opening banking.  Metro Bank not supported, Metro Savings Account not supported, HSBC Business Money Manager not supported, Paypal Fees no longer downloads, everything now needs to be done by CSV, very bad service on Quickbooks part!  Not happy.

Hi, KimDB.

I've checked and verified that we have reported issues with other users not able to download bank transactions with the said banks via the Open Banking connection.

We're currently tracking those customers who are affected by this issue and we are working closely with banks and financial institutions to provide Open Banking connections for as many banking products as possible.

We've already submitted a ticket about this issue and our engineers are all hands on deck working together for an immediate fix to sort everything out.

I'd suggest getting in touch with our QuickBooks Online Support. This way you'll be added to the lists of affected users and have them attach your account to the INV-42733. Any progress will be communicated via email.

As a workaround, you can download transactions from your bank's website and upload them to QuickBooks Online using the CSV import.

Please extend your patience until the new connection becomes available. Don't hesitate to drop me a line if you have other questions. Have a good one.
