Are there companies who will perform the migration from QBD UK to QBO for us?

We are switching from QBD UK to QBO UK, we have multi-currency transactions so cannot use QB migration tool. Are there companies who will do the whole migration for us (not just provide software for us to do it)? Please can you let me know their names/contact details, I have been searching online for hours and cannot find anyone. Thanks

Hi Katie92, we're not aware of any external parties who're able to migrate the data once multicurrency has been activated, if the data is transferred there is a chance that this will fail and the Desktop file will be empty.

Hi Katie92, we're not aware of any external parties who're able to migrate the data once multicurrency has been activated, if the data is transferred there is a chance that this will fail and the Desktop file will be empty.

I would like to do the same. I don’t have any multi-currency issues.

Migrating your files is my priority, @HHHLTD. Let us go on and transfer them by following the steps below.

 

We can create an account before moving all your data to QuickBooks Online. Let's ensure your data is backed up and readily available.

 

To do this: 

 

  1. Go to the Movemybooks website and select Get started now. 
  2. Select Create an account. 
  3. Complete the online registration form. 
  4. Read and accept the Terms of Use, and then select Create account.
  5. You will get an email confirmation containing your account details.

 

Then, upload your data from QuickBooks Desktop to Movemybooks. Once signed in, you can choose data on the conversion page. Then see these steps to conduct a data conversion:

 

  1. Select New Conversion to upload your QuickBooks Desktop data and follow the instructions.
  2. Authorise Movemybooks to connect with your QuickBooks Online account.
  3. In QuickBooks Online, select Authorise to confirm the migration.
