Attachment not legible when added via the phone App.

When I add an expense via the app on my phone, I take a photo of the supplier invoice which is included as an attachment in the expense.

 

When I view the attachment on QBO, the image isn't legible.

 

I know the file size of the image on my phone is about 450kb but the uploaded image on QBO is only about 25kb.

 

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I'm glad to have you here and be able to share some information about adding an attachment in expense via mobile app.

 

It’s never been easier to take control of your documents and put them all in one place, so you can access them anytime and anywhere. Sounds great that you already know the file of the images of your phone. However, we can only view the attachment in the maximum size indicated to QuickBook after we upload it in QuickBooks.

 

Also, we have limited file types that you can use to the images: Here are they:

 

  • PDF
  • JPEG
  • PNG
  • DOC
  • XLSX
  • CSV
  • TIFF
  • GIF
  • XML

 

I would like to add this article: Attachments in QuickBooks Online. We can surely get additional information about editing, deleting, and adding them to a type of transaction.
