Automated Password Reset Tool for QB Desktop

Trying to reset the admin password of our old Pro 2010 version.

Used the automated password reset tool (received the token from quickbooks OK), but it states it can not reset the password. Are there any other options on how to reset the Admin password?

Hello Jono57,

Welcome to the community page,

So if the token does not work you will need to call the helpline on 0808 168 9535 and ask for a password reset. We will need to get a copy of the file uploaded to us and then we would escalate this to our data services team and they would replace the password and set it to "A" plus the customer number.

hello am a new administrator of the company and we had bought a new version of quickbooks pro 2018 uk but the our file was made by 2010 pro R2 version and the administrator password was forgot if i try to open this file it asks for the admin password how can i reset it
