Yes, you can purchase QuickBooks Online (QBO) Essential. Also, QuickBooks Online specifies that the business type is a charity, it will tailor the Chart of Accounts to those a charity would need. Then, have donors as a header rather than customers. To learn more about this one, please visit our website for QBO nonprofit organisations: https://quickbooks.intuit.com/uk/industry/nonprofit-accounting/.

To find out whether QuickBooks Online fits your business or not, you can give the trial version a try. Here's how you can sign up for QuickBooks Online:

  1. Go to this link: https://quickbooks.intuit.com/uk/pricing/.
  2. Select Free trial for 30 days.
  3. Select Try it free or Free trial for Plus.
  4. Click Sign Up With Email and set up your account.
  5. After setting up your account, you can set up the company.

I've also added these references as your guide in getting started after you sign up:

You may start with QBO Essentials. Another option, consider using an old QB Desktop version + a 3rd party MTD Bridging app if required to lower your costs.
