Can I connect my sum up card to my QuickBooks app? I have recently started using it for accepting money and plan to use it for expenses too

Welcome and thanks for posting in the Community, @amberletham.

In QuickBooks Online (QBO), the ability to connect or integrate SumUp is currently unavailable. I can see how having this option would be helpful for you and your business. That said, rest assured I'll pass along your suggestion to our Product Developers. They're always looking for ideas to consider on how to improve QBO.

In the meantime, I recommend visiting our Blog site. This is where we share recent happenings and future developments, such as updates to newly added features.

Just in case, I'll add this article for future reference: Connect bank and credit card accounts to QuickBooks Online.

Let me know in the comment section below if you have any other concerns, and I'll get back to you right away. I'm always here to help. Have a great weekend!

Another SumUp user here - my business account is now a sumup credit card.
When will we be able to link our accounts please?

Very annoying! 😞

I can see the importance of linking your SumUp card to QuickBooks Online (QBO), @Jonsilver. This way, you can make your accounting easier.

Please know that the SumUp card is still unavailable on our list of supported providers. Fortunately, you can send a request to add it to the list. I'll guide you on how:

  1. Open your QBO account.
  2. Go to Transactions, and select Bank transactions.
  3. Click the Link account account.
  4. Search for the name of your financial institution. If QuickBooks is unable to find your bank, you will get the message, "Hmm, we can’t find [name of the bank you entered] in our list of supported providers".
  5. Enter your Account provider name and Account provider sign-in URL, then select Request.

Refer to this article for more information: Find your bank or credit card account when you connect to online banking in QuickBooks Online.

Additionally, you can also upload your transactions manually to your QBO account and categorise them to ensure they are allocated to the correct accounts.

If you have more questions about the process, just click the reply button below, @Jonsilver. I'll be around to provide the necessary help.
