Can I link QuukBooks with HSBC Kinetic business account

I have good news for you. You can now connect HSBC Kinetic with QuickBooks Online through Open Banking. Let me guide you through the steps.

 

  1. Go to Banking, then tap the Banking tab.
  2. Select Link account.
  3. Enter HSBC Kinetic from the search field. You can also paste the HSBC's URL.
  4. Follow the rest of the steps to completely set up the account.

 

For details about bank connection, check out this article: Connect your HSBC Business Current, Savings accounts, and Credit Cards in QuickBooks.

 

Once you're done, you can now proceed with categorizing and matching your bank transactions.

This does not seem to be working, with HSBC Kinetic not appearing in the list of valid connections. Is there an update please?

Hello Catotc, thanks for posting on this thread, so HSBC kinetic is still not available to connect to on open banking you would have to csv the transactions in until it becomes available to connect to if you have a look at this link it shows which are available and which are not.

Hi everyone, 

HSBC Kinetic can now be connected on:

-  QuickBooks Online Mobile iOS and Android
-  QuickBooks Self-Employed iOS

If you use QuickBooks Self-Employed on Android, please check  Understanding if you can connect your bank feeds to Open Banking on when you can connect your bank feed.

 

Please reply if you need any help connecting to HSBC Kinetic.

Hi There,

 

Every time I try to connect via my mobile, it just keeps taking me to a blank screen upon completion with the banking app and does nothing and then when you go back onto the original web tab it loaded off, it says the connection was interrupted but it wasn't?

It's my goal to help you link your HSBC Kinetic business account to QuickBooks seamlessly.

 

This kind of behavior in the mobile app where it's showing a blank screen when working with bank feeds can be fix by clearing the app's data. This helps refresh application and eliminates common issues that causes your screen to freeze. Clearing the app's data can be done on the app or on your phone settings.

 

Please follow the steps below:

 

  • For QuickBooks Online app:
    • Android - Select the menu at the top right and choose Settings. Then select Refresh Data and choose Yes.
    • iOS - Select the menu at the top right and then choose Help & Feedback. Then select Refresh Data and Refresh.
       
  • In your Phone Settings:
    • Android - From your phone's settings, select Apps (varies by device). Choose the QuickBooks app from the list and select Storage. Select clear data.
    • iOS - From your phone's settings, select Settings, then, click on General and choose iPhone Storage. Select an app that's taking up a lot of space. To free up the storage without deleting the documents and data for the app, select Offload App.
