Can I print a non-payroll Check Stub?

I am trying to print a check stub/remittance advice for a non-payroll check and it just takes me to the reprint screen.  I don't want to reprint by assigning an old/new number, just want to print the details of the check.  Is this possible?

I have the steps to help you print your cheque stubs in QBO, @mkeefer,

 

Perform the steps below to print the expense without repeating the Cheque number:

 

  1. Open the Cheque you want to reprint, and remember the Cheque no used.
  2. Manually remove the Cheque no leaving it blank.
  3. Click the Print link below the transaction. Notice the Reference No field doesn't have the Check no.
  4. Click Print.
  5. After printing it successfully, re-enter the number the click on Save and close.
