Let me help you add that mileage to your QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE) account, @cleancarpetsdonc.

Yes, you can add your total business miles for the entire year rather than adding them individually for each trip. That will give you the same mileage deduction.

Here's how to add those miles manually:

  1. Go to Miles menu.
  2. Click on the Add trip button in the upper right.
  3. Enter the date, description, vehicle type, distance, and trip purpose.
  4. Click on Save once you're done.

Refer to this article for more information about adding business trips manually and downloading your mileage as a CSV file: Vehicle Info settings and Miles page.

In case you'd like to track your mileage automatically, check this article on how to turn on the automatic mileage tracking feature and manage your trips: Automatically track mileage in QuickBooks Self-Employed.

I'm always here if you need more help tracking your miles and or anything else. Just let me know by leaving a reply below. Keep safe and have a wonderful day!
