Part of our services is to compute the tax payable of our clients. Regularly we invoice our clients for taxes so computed. When a client pays, we need to remit that money to the taxing agency. But there is no Bill yet. Can that be automatically created as we invoice our clients? I will appreciate your insights guys.

We can enter a billable expense, Rante-J--Ramos.

This way, your client can reimburse the amount when they receive the bill. Before doing so, we'll have to turn the billable expense first. I'll show you how:

  1. From the Gear icon, select Account and Settings.
  2. Go to the Expenses tab.
  3. Click the pencil (edit) icon on the Bills and expenses section.
  4. Select Make expenses and items billable.
  5. Click Save, and then Done.

Afterward, we'll have to enter a billable expense and link it to your client's invoice. I've added this article for more information: Enter a billable expense.
