Change subscription plan from essentials to simple start

Hi.  I am currently on the essential plan.  I would like to change to the simple plan as i do not need a lot of the features.  I am aware that i can not downgrade in my account settings and will probably need to set up a new plan/account but I do not want to lose all my current data/pics of receipts etc.  What is the best way or how can i change plans to prevent this.  Thanks.

Hello Community Users! Just to add some updates to this thread. You can now downgrade your package in Quickbooks Online. We do  need to stress that this can only be done in packages where multi currency has not been enabled(which as the warning when it is turned on says, it does not have the ability to be turned off was switched on) More information on downgrading your package can be found in this article. Hi there, Chriscall. 

 

To avoid losing all of your data, you can instead export these information to Excel then import them to your new company file (Gear icon>Import Data).
