Can I produce a graph in QBD to compare a year's sales or expenses or results to the previous year?
I can produce graphs to compare income and expenses and budget to actual but what about current year to prior year etc?

There isn't way to natively compare them using graphs, one thing you can try doing would be to export the report to Excel for each time frame then to create a graph from there comparing the two years. the reports with graphs in QuickBooks Desktop are quite limited to customisation available natively.
