Question

Completed VAT and recorded payment. However the payment did not go through. We know reason, but will this payment now go through or should we make separate arrangement

Welcome to the Community page, 

 

So in Quickbooks, the record payment is just to record it, you need to then pay with HMRC, we don't process the payments for you.
