custom invoices. Address appears in the middle of page instead of right justified

Hi,

 

Using the "Airy New" template to create a custom invoice. When I place my custom logo to the left of the invoice, my address and company details are neatly displayed on the right. It looks great.

 

However, when I preview as a PDF my logo skas left but the address/company details are placed in the centre. It looks very unprofessional.

 

I think this is a bug. If I place my logo in the centre or on the right it looks as it should. But trying to place the logo on the left results in the address appearing centre.

 

I want my logo on the left, not right. I work in the advertising industry and clients will notice!

 

Does anyone know a workaround? Or is this something Quickbooks can fit quickly?

Currently, this is how QuickBooks Online (QBO)works once you place your logo on the left part of the invoice. You'll want to import the invoice template via word document. Let me walk you through with the steps.

 

To map your template field:

  1. Open your DOCX template.
  2. As you design your template, identify text or fields that don’t change with each print. Logos, company information, certifications, and such are static info. Make it part of your template.
  3. Replace all fields with scalar or table fields, as appropriate to your chosen form type.
  4. Make sure all fields match the EZ Map fields defined in the EZ Map catalog.

To save and upload your DOCX template:

  1. Click the Gear icon, then select Custom Form Styles.
  2. Select the New style ▼ dropdown menu, then Import style. Note: Don't see Import style? Go to Settings ⚙, then QuickBooks Labs. Then turn on Import Styles.
  3. Select a form type.
  4. Select Upload your .DOCX file field, then find and select your .docx template.
  5. Click Next.

To match your fields with QuickBooks:

  1. Verify your template fields match correctly with QuickBooks fields. You can change the QuickBooks fields if they don't.
  2. Click Next if everything looks good.
