Let me provide some insights about deleting customers and jobs in QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE), @andrewbaker99.

Currently, the option to remove old customers in QBSE is unavailable. We can only delete the invoice associated with the customer. If you don't want to use the old customer, we can edit this to add the word inactive.

Here's how:

  1. Sign in to your QBSE account.
  2. In the left panel, choose Invoices
  3. Choose the invoice, select the dropdown menu under Action and click Edit

  4. Click the Edit customer info link.

  5. Next to the customer name, input the word inactive
  6. Lastly, click Save.

In addition, let me share this article on how to manage invoices in QuickBooks. It also includes steps to customize and set up your invoice preferences: Create invoices in QuickBooks Self-Employed.

Keep in touch if you have other questions about managing your customer lists and transactions in QuickBooks. I'll be happy to lend a helping hand. Have a wonderful day ahead!
