email issues in quickbooks pro 2008

Hi

I am on quickbooks 8 on win 10 pro If i want to send an invoice or statement to a customer the system take me to the printer instead of email program. I have set the customer up with email preferences What is wrong?Any suggestions

Thanks a lot It solves my problem I wish i can upgrade but i am in South Africa and will have to look for a pre owned desktop version as we here are not supported iro desktop versions We need to get our own programs

Hi mastoroudes100-o The 2008 product is no longer suppoorted. If there has been any updates to Windows or Outlook etc that conflicts with the product and we're unable to assist. You could try repairing QuickBooks from the uninstall menu. You could save as a PDF from the print menu and then manually attach that to an email to the customer.
