Emailing an invoice on iPhone

I’ve been using QuickBooks online for about six months on my android phone when I saved an invoice on my android phone The app would give me an option to select an email address for that customer and send the invoice over. 

I’ve recently switched over to iPhone and on the iPhone app when I get to the save invoice page I press the button and it saves it to my list of invoices. I then have to search for the invoice that has just been saved and then it allows me to email it.

 

my questionnaire is there a way of changing this on the iPhone to be like it was on the android phone because it is just one less process to do.

Great to connect with you, @Ogdawson! I'll guide you on submitting feedback to our Product Development team to improve email invoices in the QuickBooks Online (QBO) mobile app.

 

As the iOS version of the program does not currently support direct emailing of invoices, I strongly encourage you to submit a feature request to our Engineering team. Doing this will allow them to assess your suggestion and potentially incorporate it into future updates. These are the steps:

 

  1. Access your company file using QuickBooks Online mobile app.
  2. Click the Menu icon and then scroll down to select Request a feature.
  3. Enter a brief description about the feature you want to have inside the app.
  4. Once done, click the Send feedback button.
