Entered personal gateway key details and not company gateway code when trying to pay vat how do i change so i can make payment on line

You'll want to remove the tax rates if it wasn't processed yet. Let me show you how. Here's how:

1. From the left menu, select Taxes .
2. Select Edit VAT, then choose Edit Rates.
3. Find the tax rate you want to deactivate, then switch it from On to Off.
4. Select Yes.

Once done, you can submit a new VAT return to HRMC again. If this is already process, I'd suggest getting in touch with our customer care support. A chat or phone agent has a specific tool to check on how to change your tax codes on the paid VAT. Here's how:

1. Click Help inside QuickBooks Online.
2. Select Contact Us.
3. Enter a brief detail about your concern, then click Let's talk.
4. Select either Get a callback or Start a chat.
