Hi, I am trying to update our billing information and keep getting error 81624. Our account has now been suspended as it can't take payment. Please help! Thanks

I can help you fix the error you're getting so you can update your billing information, Toni241.

 

The error code 81624 in QuickBooks refers to a failure to authorize a payment. The error takes place when you enter an invalid address in QBO. Or the details you've entered don't match the information saved with your financial institution. You'll want to check it with your bank to verify the details.

 

Once verified yet the issue continues, I suggest contacting our Customer Care Team. They can pull up your account and do a screen-sharing session to identify the cause and investigate further. Here's how:

 

  1. Go to the Help menu, then click Contact Us.
  2. Type your concern in the box and tap Let's talk.
  3. Choose either Get a call or Start a chat.
  4. Complete the required data and submit the request.
