Hello there, @david-valance.

Updates for QuickBooks Desktop 2010 are no longer available. Since each version of the software has higher system requirements, you'll need to upgrade your QuickBooks to a newer one. And I'd be glad to assist you with this.

We have 3 steps to upgrade your QuickBooks Desktop to a newer version.

  • Step 1: Install and activate your new QuickBooks.
  • Step 2: Prepare your QuickBooks file for update.
  • Step 3: Update your QuickBooks company file.

You can check out this article for the detailed steps and information: Upgrade to a New QuickBooks Desktop Version.

If you're having trouble upgrading your QuickBooks, I recommend contacting our Technical Support Team. They have the necessary tools to help you upgrade your QuickBooks Desktop successfully.
