Error when adding new Exchange Rate for currency

Hi,

 

I am using QuickBooks Desktop: Premier Accountant Edition.

I try to manually enter exchange rates for a Currency by going to Currency List and choosing Edit Currency for the chosen currency.

 

After inserting a new line (entering As Of Date and dhe new exchange Rate) I get the following Error: 

One or more changes to the exchange rate history for this currency could not be saved (as in the screenshot) 

 

Do you know why does it happen and how can I fix it?

Yes. I have done it several times. It does not work.

 

It's strange because it shows that error in the first days of a new month. It will display that error on the first X days of the month and then after X days it will begin to work. Then, it stops working again the next month for the first days.

Hello Liseasyp, 

 

Can you ring our desktop helpline on 0808 168 9535, they will be able to set up a screen share and see what is going on and why the error is happening for you.

Thanks for the reply.

I have a perpetual licence for the Desktop Edition and I do not think I have Technical Support included anymore.
Can they still help me?

Try changing the date format from MM/DD/YYYY TO DD/MM/YYYY and it should work. Once Exchange Rate is entered and saved revert date format back to MM/DD/YYYY.
