Everytime I try to link my tide account it says an error occurred, how can I rectify this?

To connect your tide bank account in QuickBooks Online (QBO) is my top priority so you can manage and track your bank transactions. 

 

For you to link your bank account and resolve the error, let's try opening your QBO account in a private browser. The browser troubleshooting method can eliminate data issues and fix unusual behaviors. 

 

To access a private window, below are the shortcut keys:

 

  • Press Ctrl Shift + N (Google Chrome)
  • Ctrl Shift + (Firefox and Microsoft Edge)
  • Control Option + (Safari)

 

Once logged in, connect your tide bank again. If it works, go back to your default browser and clear the cache. See Clear cache and cookies to fix issues when using QuickBooks Online article for more information.

 

Otherwise, switch to a different browser like Firefox, Google Chrome, or Safari. The one you are currently on maybe have a temporary issue with QuickBooks, and using a new browser for the moment will allow you to get back to work.
