Export qbo reports to excel

Hi

From being able to seamlessly export my vat reports on q.b.o. to excel I now find that I can no longer do so. I am using  a hp laptop,windows 10,x64 laptop with MS 365 installed.

Any tips on how to modify vat reports on qbo by memo without going through the above prehistoric procedure. Tried tags but only shows the gross figures on the filtered reports.

Very tempted to dig up my old XP laptop and resume on QB2001 which was way ahead of its time!!!!!!!!!

If having a problem exporting your VAT reports to Excel, the first thing we need to do is perform basic troubleshooting.

 

For troubleshooting, to better isolate the issue, try signing in to your QBO account using a private or incognito window. This mode does not use any existing cache data and allows us to confirm if the problem is related to your browser.

 

Here's how:

 

For Google Chrome browser: Ctrl + Shift + N

For Mozilla Firefox browser: Ctrl + Shift + P

For Safari browser: Command + Option + P

 

If it works, go back to your regular browser and clear the cache to delete those temporarily stored files and browsing history. You can also use other supported, up-to-date browsers to roll out the possibility of a browser-related issue.

 

And, in response to your additional concerns about modifying or filtering reports by memo, I reviewed the system and found nothing to do so. I know how convenient and time-saving it is to have it added, to QuickBooks Online. I would recommend sending your feedback to QuickBooks, so our developer may analyze and include your suggestions in future releases. To submit your feedback.

 

 

  1. Choose Settings, then Feedback.
  2. Put your comments or product suggestions. And then select Next to submit feedback.
