We're unable to find any ongoing investigations about the NatWest connection issue. However, there are reasons why you're unable to connect the account.
Here are the following:
- Bank restriction or is under maintenance
- Your bank has multiple names on the list
To resolve, make sure to log in to your bank's website and check if there are restrictions on the connection or if it's under maintenance. If everything is clear on the bank's side, let's copy the bank's URL. Sometimes a financial institution will have multiple bank names or might have different types of accounts but only release one website for QuickBooks Self-Employed connection.
Then, follow these steps to search for the account:
- Sign in to your QuickBooks Self-Employed account.
- Go to the profile ⚙ icon and then select Bank accounts.
- In the search field, enter your bank's URL and click Continue.
- Enter the sign-in information you use for your bank's website.
- When you’re ready, hit the Connect securely button.
