Let's make sure we'll be able to fix the freezing issue on your banking page, james-jones67-ta.

There are times that your browser is full of a frequently accessed page that cause some unusual responses. You can log into your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account in a private window (incognito) to isolate the issue. Use the following shortcuts below:

  • Press Ctrl Shift (Google Chrome).
  • Ctrl Shift (Firefox).
  • Control Option (Safari).

Once signed in, you can try reconnecting your bank to check if the page is already responsive. If so, return to your default browser and clear the cache to speed up the loading process. The cache may have been overwhelmed with older data which have potentially caused viewing and performance issues. Clearing it will refresh the system, and you'll be able to work with a clean slate. However, if the issue persists, you can try switching to other supported browsers.

Additionally, QuickBooks automatically downloads the latest transactions once you connect your bank. It tries to look at and match them with transactions you've already entered in QuickBooks. You can go through this article for your guide: Categorise And Match Online Bank Transactions In QuickBooks Online.

Keep in touch if you have any concerns in connecting your bank. Remember, I'll always be right here if you need further assistance.
