Hi. The mileage section on my app shows a potential deduction available in £. When I take money out, the £ stays the same, should it not reduce if I'm doing it correctly?

If I draw out all "potential deductions calculated @ 45p per mile, the app still shows the same amount as a "potential deduction" being available and doesnt update.

Hello there, @chris c1. I want to ensure you'll be able to fix the mileage section in your QuickBooks Online (QBO) app. 

 

Thanks for sharing the details of your concern. To help resolve this, we can clear your app's cache to refresh the connection. This is a helpful initial step to resolve any sort of problem.

 

I've outlined the steps depending on your device.

 

For Andriod:

 

  1. In your QBO app, select the Menu icon.
  2. Then, choose Settings. 
  3. Next, select Data and tap Yes.

 

For iOS:

 

  1. Tap the Menu option.
  2. Then, choose Help & Feedback. 
  3. Next, click Refresh Data and select Refresh

 

Once done, close and re-open the app then, check the potential deduction on the mileage section again. You can also verify if the same issue persists when running your QBO account via a web browser.
