How do i create a back up file in sage50 to be a ptb file? Dataswitch will only upload a ptb file, and i have tried adding .ptb to backup file name but not worked

You need to utilize the trial version for Sage to restore your backup file. Another option, you can purchase a 3rd party conversion service to convert your Sage backup file to QB Online. You don't have to bother installing Sage 50 on your machine.
