How do i delete a payment received

I need to delte a payment into the business account as I have recorded it in a monthly sales transaction

Hello Spiritofsheffiel, 

 

Welcome to the Community page, 

 

If the transaction is just on the banking page then if you click the little square on the left handside next to the date then click exclude this will remove the transaction for you.  (Transactions>banking>for review or categories depending where it is> select the little box next to date on the transaction in question> click exclude). If you have an invoice and have clicked received payment on it then all you need to do is go into that invoice then into the payment and click more at the bottom and then select delete this will then make the invoice open again.
