Question

How do I delete my account? I joined yesterday but can't get any help via chat or request a phone call so I wish to leave. Can anyone help please?

Hi there, pip-anderson.

 

Canceled and unused QuickBooks Online account will be automatically deleted. We set a schedule when it will done. 

 

First, let's make sure to cancel your account to avoid unnecessary charges. Here's how:

  1. Click on the Gear icon.
  2. Select Account and Settings.
  3. In the Billing & Subscription section, click on the Cancel your trial link.
  4. Continue to cancel and answer the quick exit survey.

Once done, you are given a period to access the account in case you need to get some financial reports or lists. Please see this reference for a guide: What happens to my QuickBooks Online data after I cancel?

 

If you decided to use this account, please follow the steps above to reactivate.
