I've got just the steps you need with your taxes, @mollart-robert.

I'm here to ensure you're able to download the taxes summary in QuickBooks Self-Employed.

If the Ask where to save each file before downloading is turn off, the summary of your taxes will automatically be downloaded on your computer. You can just simply click the downloaded PDF at the bottom part of your screen. See the sample screenshot for your reference.

To ask where to save the downloaded file or notify if the downloads are complete, I'd recommend turning on the setting. Let me guide you how:

For Google Chrome:

  1. Click the 3 vertical dots on the right side, then select Settings
  2. Type download in the search box.
  3. Turn on the radio button in the Ask where to save each file before downloading

For Internet Explorer:

  1. Click the Gear icon, then choose View Downloads
  2. Choose Options and ensure that the Notify me when my downloads are complete box is checked.
  3. Hit OK

If you're using other browsers, I'd advise you to search the instructions on how to turn on the settings.

Once everything is set, go back to the Taxes page, then re-download the tax summary.
