How do I run a trial balance that shows transactions for specific period i.e 06.04.18 to 05.04.19 ?

The Trial Balance is populated from the month that is set within the settings. The report will only run from the first of the month entered, so in your example you will have to enter April. cog/gear icon in the top right hand corner of the screen, select account and settings, select advanced and in the Accounting section edit the First month of the financial year. Then run the trial balance and select Last Financial Year within the Report Period and select run report. The figures generated will be within the date range of 01/04/2018 - 31/03/2019.
