Hi andrew136, thanks for posting on the Community

To batch print, navigate to the Expenses page (Take me there) > batch-select or tick the relevant transactions > batch actions > print transactions.

When I go to 'Batch actions' (after selecting the cheques required) the option to 'Print transactions' is greyed out and can't be used

I'd be glad to help you check your settings to print your checks successfully, Andrew.

First, try to delete cookies and temporary internet files. As it stores temporary internet files from your browsing history and collects too many files, this may cause performance issues in your account. This can be the reason why you can't print your checks.

First, you'll have to sign in to your QBO account using a private browser. This helps isolate the issue since it doesn’t store data in the cache. Here are the following keyboard shortcuts:

  • Safari: Command + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox: CTRL + Shift + P
  • Google Chrome: CTRL + Shift + N
  • Microsoft Edge:  CTRL + Shift + P

If it works, here's how to clear cache and cookies to fix issues when using QuickBooks Online. Restart your browser right after.

You can also try to print these checks using other supported browsers (Firefox, Google Chrome, Safari, Microsoft Edge) if the steps above didn’t work.

Here's more information on how to troubleshoot printing paychecks, pay stubs, and forms if you're still having error printing check in QuickBooks Online.

I'm always here if you have more questions about creating and printing your checks. I'd be glad to hear more from you in the comment section. Take care and enjoy the rest of the day.
