I can't use the snap receipt feature and haven't been able to for months. I just get an error message saying cannot connect to camera. How can I fix this?

I have tried deleting and reinstalling the app. I have checked that the app has full camera permissions and I have cleared the data.

We have an ongoing investigation about the camera error when snapping receipts, @Rose135.

 

This issue about the camera not allowing QuickBooks to snap receipts has been reported to our engineers for further investigation.

 

I recommend reaching our support team so they can add you to the list of affected users. This way, you will receive email updates on the status.

 

Here's how:

 

  1. Go to the Help menu, then choose the Search tab.
  2. At the bottom, click Contact us.
  3. Enter the keyword Account Management and Billing in the What can we help you with? box.
  4. On the next screen, scroll down to How would you like to connect with us? section.
  5. Choose your contact option to initiate a discussion with a live agent.
