Question

I cannot access the payroll (employee) section on Quick Books online. I just get the error message "something unexpected happened". I have cleared the cache but no use.

Clearing cache is our primary troubleshooting solution to see if the problem is caused by internet files stored up in the system. In addition to that, you can also try switching to another supported browser.

 

It's possible that the one you're currently on is having a temporary issue with QuickBooks, and using a different browser in the meantime will allow you to get back to work. 

 

However, if you continue to get the same result even after performing those steps, I highly suggest giving our Customer Care Team a call for further assistance. They have tools capable of pulling up your account in a secure environment and answering any questions you may have.
