Question

I cannot link my tide account with my QuickBooks account. Whenever I try it takes me to a page saying ‘oops something went wrong’. Please help.

You may be experiencing one of the few reasons why you are unable to connect your bank account in QuickBooks Online (QBO). Please verify if your bank is not undergoing system maintenance or ensure that you are using the correct bank URL.

 

Furthermore, a user may encounter unexpected behavior, such as runtime errors, in which case we can usually resolve the problem with basic browser troubleshooting. 

 

Let's first sign in to your QBO in a private window. Here are the keyboard shortcuts:

 

  • Safari: Command + Shift + N
  • Google Chrome: CTRL + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox or Microsoft Edge: CTRL + Shift + P

 

Once you're in, reopen your QuickBooks Online account. Let's connect your Tide account again. If it's successful, return to your regular browser and clear the cache to start afresh. If the same problem persists, we can try another supported browser. The one you're using now may have temporary issues with QuickBooks Online.
