Question

I created a new client account for my client but when I try to search and click for that new client the system brings up an existing clients account. How do I fix this?

Hi joannefox-clydeg Thanks for reaching out to us here on the Community. To confirm, you're able to locate the new client account on the client list however when you select the green QB symbol you're directed to an existing client account? We presume that you were using the company/client name as a search term?

Yes basically we were moving the client from an essentials license to a promo license and so we had to delete the old one and create a new one with the new license , so when I typed the the clients name in the search bar both old and new account were coming up but when you click on the new one created to go into it it would bring up another clients account, the old one when you click into it says subscription has been cancelled which is correct .
