Question

I have accepted an invitation from a client but could not see the client's data on my portal. Please can you help

Hi joneskobi,

 

After accepting the invitation, let's make sure to log out and log back in to your account. This is to refresh the data that might have been stuck after the invite.

 

If you're still not able to see the client's information, we can do some troubleshooting steps to rule out any browser-related issue.

 

Open your company in an incognito or private browser using the shortcut key below:

 

  • Chrome press Ctrl+Shift+N.
  • Internet Explorer or Firefox, press Ctrl+Shift+P
  • Safari, hold down Command+Shift+N.

Then, select the client's company from the Go To QuickBooks drop-down list. If you see the figures, you can clear the cache on your regular browser by following the instructions here: How do I clear my browser cache and temporary Internet files?.

 

On the other hand, open your QuickBooks Online account on a different browser (Internet Explorer, Firefox, or Safari).Otherwise, reach out to your client and have them remove the invitation and add your information again.
