Question

I have trying to create a new pay run and is giving me this error An error has occurred while processing this job.

I am trying to create payrun in advance payroll. It worked for one client today but not the another one which seems odd I have ran Quickbooks on incognito and on a different browser. I have also cleared cache and cookies. It is urgent so would appreciate any advice.

Hi sash1,

 

I understand the urgency of your payroll to catch up the pay date. However, after checking, I found out that a few users are reporting the same thing. They care unable to provide a turnaround time, but they've suggested a workaround while waiting for the fix.

 

Please follow this quick fix:
 

  1. Go to the Payroll Settings > Pay Categories screen.
  2. Click on the 'Sick Leave Taken' pay category.
  3. Click Save. This should now allow the creation of the payrun without issues.

 

You can also contact our Support afterward so they can get your account details to be linked to the open ticket for updates. They have the tools for that since they can check account details.

 

  1. Click the Help (?) icon at the top.
  2. Type Talk to a human.
  3. Type INV-66205 - An error has occurred while processing this job in the What can we help you with box.
  4. Choose I still need a human.
  5. Select the Start messaging option.
