Question

I haven't got access to Quickbooks workforce admin settings on my desktop! Is there a reason for this?

If this is your first time setting up QuickBooks Workforce and you're having trouble accessing certain settings, we can clear the browser's cache to rule out the possibility of a browser issue.

 

First, open your account in an incognito window using these shortcuts:

 

  • For Google Chrome browser: Ctrl + Shift + N
  • For Mozilla Firefox browser: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • For Safari browser: Command + Shift + N

 

Once resolved, you can either return to your regular browser to clear its cache or switch to a different compatible one. Sometimes, there could be a temporary issue with QBO or the window you're using.

Thank you for your help, which is much appreciated. First of all, I am working in windows browser so not sure if that makes a difference. secondly, Quickbooks Workforce isn't even visible on my Quickbooks version including payroll. Thirdly I am the only person with access to Quickbooks therefore I will need full access to Workforce. Fourthly, I am setting up Workforce for the first time. At present they are unable to activate the invitation.

If you aim to access the workforce, you can invite yourself to QuickBooks Workforce to get an email notification and know that your pay slips and documents are ready to view, print, and download. But before you can do this, you have to invite yourself via email first.
