I have a couple of solutions to help you resolve the error, matthew-humphrey.

Let's try changing the data connection on your device:

  • If connected to Wifi, turn it off and use cellular data.
  • If connected to cellular data, connect to Wifi.

Once done, restart your QuickBooks app and try to signing in to your account.

If you're still getting the same error message, you'll want to clear the app's data.

  • Android: From More Options ⋮, tap Settings, then select Refresh Data, and then tap Yes.
  • iOS: From the Menu ☰, select Help & Feedback, tap Refresh Data, and then select Refresh.

Otherwise, uninstall and reinstall the app. I've got this article for the troubleshooting reference: Troubleshooting Quick-Start Guide for the QuickBooks Online app.

You can always get back to me if you have other questions or concerns. I'd be glad to help you out again. Take care!

Our entire team is getting the same error.  Fix please!  Can't run a business this way.

Been getting this error yesterday and all day today. We are a mobile service and now our business has come to a halt. Yes we can take payments using the web based application but is such a pain in the rear end and the cards have to be manually entered. for the amount of money QuickBooks charges for this service you would think this would be rectified a lot quicker.

I appreciate you following up on this thread, @JeffMain, @lowestpriceautorepair, and @KGaugh. I've come to provide some troubleshooting steps to help you resolve the Query processing error in QuickBooks Online.

This is not the kind of experience that we want you to have. Rest assured that we're working diligently to get things back and running again for the mobile app.

First off, let's ensure the app is up-to-date. That being said, we can go to the App Store and select the Today tab. Next, click on your profile. In the Available updates section, look for the QuickBooks mobile app, then select Update.

You also need to reset or refresh your data. This is the same as clearing the cache in your web browser. Through this, we can refresh the application and prevent common issues by doing so.

  • Android: From More ⋮, tap Settings, then select Refresh Data, and then tap Yes.
  • iOS: From the Menu ☰, select Help & Feedback, tap Refresh Data, and then select Refresh.

Once done, you can restart or reboot your mobile device. Then, log out and log back in to refresh the application. Otherwise, uninstall and reinstall the app.

For now,  you'll want to use a computer to log in to QuickBooks Online. Alternatively, you can use your phone's browser or other supported browsers.

If the issue persists, I'd recommend contacting our Customer Care team. They can do a screen-sharing session to take a closer look at the issue and help you resolve your concern.

Here's how:

  1. Go to the Menu option.
  2. Select the Question mark icon, then click Help and Support.
  3. Click Contact Us.
  4. Enter "Unexpected error. Query processing error" in the description field, then click Let's talk.
  5. Choose either Chat or Callback.

I've got these articles that'll help you with managing your business wherever you go. They will provide more details about the mobile app.

If you have any other concerns about the mobile app, you can always get back to me. I'd be glad to assist you. Have a great day.
