I'm trying to set up daily takings and when I go into lists and try and access the reoccurring transactions it knocks me out into subscriptions. Do I need to upgrade?

This specific feature requires either QuickBooks Online Essentials or Plus. So if you're using Simple Start you'll need to upgrade to at least the Essentials version to be able to use this feature.
