This is already under investigation, Lelly.

Our engineers are working on a permanent fix. As a workaround, you can upload the bank transactions manually.

Here's how:

  1. Go to Banking on the left panel.
  2. Choose Banking.
  3. Select the File upload option located in the upper right.
  4. In the Bring your info into QuickBooks page, click the Browse button and select the file exported from your bank's website.
  5. Select Next.
  6. Choose the bank account from the drop-down.
  7. Select Next.
  8. Map the columns to match the QuickBooks Online fields, and click Next.
  9. Select the transactions you want to upload and select Next. Then, hit the Let's go! button.

The following article contains more details: Manually upload transactions into QuickBooks Online.

I'd also recommend contacting our Customer Care Team so we can add your company information to the affected user list.

Here’s how you can reach out to us:

  1. Click the Help icon located in the upper right-hand corner.
  2. In the Help window, click the Contact Us button located at the bottom.

I am trying to connect Quickbooks to update my NATWEST Business credit card account too but it only offers Bankline or online banking as logon options.  Neither of which i use.  I Have Cardsonline or Clearspend but they do not seem to be supported by Quickbooks!! I have called Natwest but they said i have to sort this out via Quickbooks.. I have uttely no idea what to do now! Next month the cardsonline  connection will cease so i want this sorted ASAP.

Help!!

Hi,

I have managed to sort this finally....I had exactly the same issue as you.

Firstly you will need to disconnect your credit card account currently connected to Quickbooks....then reconnect...by Add account and ...

Type Cards online in the space and it will offer you different connections...

Click on Cards Online Commercial - Other Cards. The Other Cards one is the only one which will then ask for your log on details correctly...follow this through and you should be able to reconnect again.

Fingers crossed you get this sorted too. :)

Hi Steven shannon!

Thanks for joining this thread. I can show you how to disconnect your credit card from the Banking feature of QuickBooks Online.

Follow these steps:

  1. Go to the Banking/Transactions menu and select the Banking tab.
  2. Select the tile for the credit card account.
  3. Click the Pencil icon, then Edit account info.
  4. Check the Disconnect this account on save box, then Save and Close.

Once done, you can now reconnect it.

I added this link to know what to do once you download the transactions: Categorise and match online bank transactions in QuickBooks Online.
