I’ve received a payment in QuickBooks via PayPal but don’t know where the funds have gone? Not in my PayPal or the acc associated with my PayPal? Any help appreciated.

Good day, contact154. Getting paid is something to look forward to. Let me share some information about receiving payments via PayPal in QuickBooks Online.

 

Credit card and PayPal payments usually appear in your PayPal account within the day. Although sometimes it might take long if there's a scheduled maintenance. 

 

Since it didn't show in your PayPal account until now (and no email confirmation was received), I recommend contacting PayPal's support channel. They'll be able to help and trace where the payment went.

 

Also, you may follow-up with your customer for any reference number regarding the payment. Once the transaction appears in your PayPal account, QuickBooks will automatically download it in the bank feeds. If not, you can manually update the linked PayPal account. Navigate to the Banking page and then click Update.
