Question

I wish to export the Review tab from the Banking screen as it contains all the detail I need. The export is limited to 1000 rows. How do I get all transactions exported?

Good day, james63.

I'm here to give you additional insights about the limits in QuickBooks Online. There are size limits when exporting your transactions. Here are the limitations:

  • Maximum of 1024 columns displayed
  • Maximum 400k cells with data
  • Maximum 10MB worth of data

You may want to split into multiple exports so you'll be able to get all the data needed.

I'm adding this article about the limits of what QBO can handle: QuickBooks Online file size and feature limits.

I'll be always around if you have other QuickBooks concerns.

Thank you for the reply, but we're nowhere near any of those limits.

What I want is an excel formatted output of all banking transactions that includes the bank detail column available from the banking screen, and the account to which the payment was assigned.

So, 2 columns, perhaps 2700 rows and overall, definitely less than 4Mb.

Exporting from the review tab only gives me the first 1000 rows, and I can't see how to get the rest.

Thank you

James

Hi James63,

The transactions in the for review are not yet in QuickBooks therefore or not in any reports so the limitations above do not apply.

You can only export 1000 transactions from the for review page, the way in which to get the other transactions exported out of QuickBooks would be to export the 1000, make note of the last transactions exported out, go back to banking and filter the date range so it shows the next lot and then export them out. The Way to do this is banking> for review> filter icon> custom, put the date range in>apply> export out.

This will export it to another excel document so then just copy the transactions and paste them into the first excel document you exported out so they all show on the one excel.

Any Community users, if you have any other suggestions we welcome them.

Thanks

Ashleigh
