Ideas Exchange Forums. Issues.

With little fanfare Intuit introduced the Idea Exchange section of the forums, still with no direct link to it. It now appears the forum section is also broken. You change any of the filter settings the section greys out, same if you chance the posts per page.
Intuit, if you are serious about this forum you need to make it easier to get to, and at minimum make sure it actually work. Would also be a brilliant idea if you get the information out to your customer that this forum even exists.

After you submit your idea, fellow community members have a chance to vote. The Community Management and product development teams will then review and make appropriate updates on your idea based on it’s popularity. We consider an idea popular once it reaches 50 votes. All ideas with 50+ votes are shared with our product teams. @Ashleigh1Did you actually read my post. I am reporting that this section of the forums is BROKEN. It needs fixing, just like QBO needs fixing. I thought you Ashleigh typically answered with some clarity. I guess not,  you now sound like all the other reply bots.
Honestly I have never known a company so ignorant. You have the opportunity to help us, the PAYING customers make YOUR product better, while making the product worse.

 

I am beyond words. Wasted efforts, 24 year a customer, treated like a peice of dog excrement.

Hi Mark, thank you for bringing the issues with Idea Exchange board to our attention and please accept my sincere apologies for confusion with the previous answer. I was able to recreate the issue on my side and am working on resolving this for affected customers with the technical teams. The issue seems to be affecting some customers, therefore it may take longer to resolve as we try to pin point and address the cause of it.I also wanted to acknowledge your feedback on discoverability of Idea Exchange board. As it is currently at a soft launch phase, we have intentionally limited access to help us improve on internal processes and assess volumes of incoming ideas first. We are looking at how we can make the access easier for customers in a long term.

I see the forum is still broken.

I have the same experience - the forum is broken and the feature request system does not work.

 

It will not be possible for any customer's feature request to reach 50 votes if the forum & the feature request is not visible unless you have a direct link.

The fact that customers have been requesting features for several years that have still not been included shows that it is not working or that the QB team has no intention of improving the product - important features like Custom Categories - which almost everyone will need - are missing and have been requested for years. Custom Categories should be considered a very basic requirement of a paid accounting software!

 

Please Quickbooks - get a grip on this - improve your product - listen to your customers - and fix the issues where our comments, discussions and requests are being hidden from other customers so that no-one ever reaches the 50 votes that you say is required for the team to consider changing and improving anything.
