Im trying to add my accountant but it says error message. Also having trouble with the app syncing with the online? Anyone else

Hello Laura G1!

 

It is always a good idea to add an accountant to help review your books. Let me assist you in inviting an accountant.

 

First, I'd like to know what is the error you encountered when trying to add the accountant. That way, I'll know the root cause and will be able to fix it.

 

In the meantime, you'll want to invite them using an incognito window. Incognito won't save your browsing history which can result in an error. These are some of the shortcut keys:

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl Shift + N
  • Safari 11 or newer: ⌘ Shift N
  • Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl Shift P
  • Microsoft Edge: Ctrl Shift P  

 

Then, I suggest you clear the cache and make sure you're using a supported and up-to-date browser. This can resolve any browser-related issues.

With regard to QuickBooks Online mobile app, make sure you have a stable internet connection. Once you log in to the app, your data will automatically sync. 

 

In addition, make sure you installed the latest version of the app. You can also uninstall, then re-install it if the behavior persists.
