Is anyone else having a problem getting QB to download from their bank. It is 4 weeks since Coutts and QB worked?

I understand the desire to seek help regarding the inability to download transactions from Coutts Bank. It's been a long time since the issue has existed, so my priority is providing troubleshooting to ensure this gets fixed timely. 

 

Let's start by accessing your QuickBooks account via incognito or private window. This mode doesn't retain cache, so we can verify if it is a webpage issue. You can also use other supported browsers as an alternative. 

 

Here are the keyboard shortcuts you can use:

 

  • For Firefox, press Ctrl + Shift + P
  • For Chrome, press Ctrl + Shift + N
  • For Safari, hold down Command + Shift + N

 

Please know that our system will always depend on what your bank sends us. Therefore, we advise customers to manually update if the transactions are up to date in your financial institution but not in QuickBooks. This process refreshes the connection.

 

To proceed, let's log in to your account via incognito and follow the steps below:

 

  1. Go to the Banking menu or Transactions menu.
  2. Go to the Banking tab.
  3. Click on the bank account that you're working with.
  4. Select Update.

  

However, if nothing comes up even after manual updates, we recommend you log in to your bank's website to check for notifications that need attention or review any ongoing maintenance.
