Locate Company back up from a previous date?

Let me share some insights regarding locating a company backup of your data from a previous date in QuickBooks Online.

The option to create and locate a backup of a company file is currently available to the Advanced version of QuickBooks Online.

If you're using the SimpleStart, Essentials, or Plus version, this feature is not yet offered. The system update your records whenever there are changes made. That said, we cannot restore your file to a previous date.

If you want to view all the changes made on your account, you can visit the Audit Log. This keeps track your activities where you can see who made changes to your books and what they did.

To do that:

1. Go to Gear icon at the top. 
2. Select on Audit Log.
3. Hit on Filter.
4. Use the fields on the Filter panel to choose the appropriate User, Date, or Events filter to narrow the results.
5. Press on Apply.
